The
cartoons below appeared in Health Links, a quarterly newspaper
published by the Health Promotion Unit of the
HSE Western Area
. The McSlaintes and O'Tinns were
created to explore health promotion in an informative and entertaining
way. They're
friends- but with slightly different ideas about what's healthy and
what's not! Subjects covered were A&E overcrowding, men's health,
childhood obesity, avian flu, breastfeeding, breastcheck and
